What is the character limit for a SMS text
message?
The maximum number of characters for a text
message sent from Textit.biz gateway is 120. If
you type a longer message it will be broken down
into two or more text messages (depending on the
length of the message) and you will be charged
accordingly.

What is a Submission
Report ?
A confirmation that your SMS messages has been
sent to the recipient mobile Network
When you submit an SMS message to the mobile
network, you get a submission report, that
contains an ID field called message reference or
callback id. This report indicates that your SMS
messages was accepted by the Gateway for
delivery. The message reference (callback id),
in this message submission report is a number or
a string, that identifies your message in the
Gateway.
After the message has been accepted by the
mobile network , and the message submission
report has been returned to the sender, the
message is stored in the SMSC. The message stays
in the gateway out que until delivery becomes
possible. This delivery can happen much later,
for example if the recipient mobile phone is
offline, and comes online later, it can take
days.

My messages are not received.
What can cause this problem?
Invalid number format, message format, userid or
a restriction on your account
You need to use the International number format.
It is also possible, that your Account has been
restricted. check the credit balance first and
the credits are sufficient Please call us
to find out.

What are the error codes
return from HTTP Gateway ?
if your message cannot be sent, the HTTP Gateway
generates an error code.
Below are the most common error codes.
to_invalid : Recipient Number format is
invalid
Ins_Crd : Insufficiant Credit
balance in your textit.biz account for sending
the message
Usr_Invalid : User ID is invalid or non-existing
Auth_Fail : Authorization failiure ,
Username or password invalid or the account is
not setup properly.

How long will it takes
deliver a SMS Message ?
The gateway is fully capable of sending 3000
SMS Messages Per Minuite for each account. how
ever there may be restrictions from the
recipients mobile networks when sending
bulk messages. gateway automatically detects
those restrictions and adjust accordingly for
each message, usually it takes around 0.1-3
seconds to send an SMS when sending bulk
messages. but the actual delivery time may vary
according to the recipient mobile network,
recipients mobile network coverage, recipients
SMS Inbox capacity and the power on status of
the recipients handset.

What happens if i generate
more than 3000 Messages per second ?
You can generate virtually unlimited Messages
per second. the gateway automatically que your
messages and send each message at the best
interval to guaranty the successful delivery.
